The mission of United Way of Russia is to foster responsible philanthropy and to meet critical social needs by supporting outstanding charitable service providers.

• United Way of Russia was founded in 1991.
• In 2008 United Way was registered as Russian non - for - profit organization. UWR is affiliated with United Way International, the global branch of United Way of America.
• Like United Way organizations worldwide, we raise donations from businesses and private individuals and use the funds to support local charities.
• UWR is run by a Moscow - based Board representing leading corporations and supported by a small staff.
