Dear colleagues,
We are glad to announce United Way together with PILI starts a legal seminar cycle pro bono where you will be able to make questions and advise on specific cases. The project is supported by Clifford Chance CIS Ltd.
In 2009 we plan 9 pro bono seminars that will cover different aspects of NPO legal support. Expected seminar topics below:
- NPO set up;
- Foundation documents change, changes irrelevant to foundation documents;
- Obtaining special licenses for NPO (educational, medical and others);
- Aspects of foreign NPO departments operation;
- Special-purpose taking, forms, distinction from special-purpose
financing (grant);
- Charitable actions: donation boxes, donation collection, auctions,
lotteries;
- Labor legislation issues;
- Registration relations with legal persons and individuals;
- Simplified taxation system;
- Business activities of NPOs;
- Financial accounting for NPOs.
